High solid high build epoxy coating incorporating glass flakes and inert pigments having excellent corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance and resistance against fresh and sea water.

Can be applied to steel and concrete structures in splash/ tidal zone

Can be also used in conjunction with CP

Can be applied to non-blast cleaned surfaces

Volume Solids (Based on ASTM - D2697) - 82% + 2%
Typical Dry Film Thickness - 500 Microns
Wet Film Thickness - 610 Microns
VOC (Test Method -USEPA 24) - 160 gm/ Ltr

Airless Spray
Brush or Roller

Additional Information

Designed Use: Suitable as topcoat for upto C5, IM 3 Environment as per ISO 12944 Part 2.
Thinner/ Cleaning Solvent: Solvalux 7-45
Packaging: 5 ltrs
Shelf Life: 12 months from date of manufacture.
Other information: Common with all epoxies this product will chalk or discolor on exposure to sunlight, elevated temperatures or chemicals . May also be applied between 250 and 500 Microns DFT.
Colour: Black & Red Oxide

POPULAR SYSTEM

One or two coats of Steelshield 1000 @ 250/500 microns dft per coat over Epilux Primer. Please consult Berger Representative for recommending suitable paint system
